I often rant and rave about bad service on Twitter, it’s my place to vent. Luckily for the brands I don’t have a huge following and influence online, but what happens when a brand pisses off someone with a large following.
Someone at Cell C must have done something horrible to Jeremy Hewitt, not knowing that he commands 17k+ followers on Twitter as Jeremy Loops. We all know that when we are deciding on a new product or service we are influenced by the opinions of our friends and communities, so something like this rant is very detrimental and will affect the bottom line (even if fractionally). This is why the customer experience and brand contact point consistency is key in building and maintaining brands.
The Cell C community manager must’ve shat themself.
